Materials Supplied by Ascent for Their Equipment
At Ascent, we don't believe in proprietary materials. You can purchase all the materials from us or in large volume directly from the manufacturer.
(Proprietary materials equivalent to purchasing a new car, and you can only buy the gasoline from the car manufacturer.)
ALUMINUM EXTRUSIONS 1.75", 2", 3", 4" and F-trim 1" (45 mm, 50 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm)
The UL/RU Recognized Component extrusion / profiles are non-proprietary and can be purchased from Ascent at very competitive prices or in large quantities directly from the manufacturer.
- Extrusion is painted Epoxy white that can be used without repainting or as an excellent primer for different colors.
- Other colors of extrusions are available.
- Ascent extrusion system uses a pneumatic gun (supplied with the machine) with tiny stainless-steel nails to make the initial shape of the letter and does not rely on adhesive (the competition's system, which uses glue and a magnet table, makes it almost unmanageable to produce trimless letters).
- The Ascent extrusion system and clips are a UL/RU Recognized Component for indoor and outdoor use for letters up to 66" (the competition's own guidance recommends not exceeding 38" for exterior use).
