Frequently asked

Common questions about this equipment

How much does Ascent equipment cost?
Ascent doesn't publish list prices because every quote is configured to the buyer's specific machine, materials, and freight destination — but the quoted price is always all-inclusive: installation, on-site training, a multi-year warranty, and lifetime remote support are built into the number, not added afterward. Request a quote and you'll get a full, itemized price with no hidden fees.
How long does delivery/shipping take once I order?
Lead time depends on whether your machine is in stock: if it is, expect about 2 weeks; if it needs to be built to order, plan for approximately 6 weeks.
What payment methods do you accept — credit card, wire transfer, financing?
Ascent offers financing through independent equipment lenders, with the customer free to choose their own financial institution and deal with them directly and confidentially. For direct purchases, the standard payment schedule is 50% at order placement, 45% before shipping, and 5% after installation, paid by wire or bank-to-bank transfer. For materials orders, we also accept credit cards, with an additional 3.6% processing fee.
What is the expected service life of Ascent equipment?
Ascent backs every machine with a warranty — terms vary by machine type, with channel letter bending machines carrying our longest coverage (2 years comprehensive parts and labor, plus 1 additional year of parts). With normal maintenance, Ascent equipment is built to run more than 10 years. After the warranty period, a maintenance contract is available for purchase.
Can I visit Ascent's facility or see a machine running before I buy?
Yes. Every Ascent machine is also run and tested for at least one week in our facility before it ships, so quality is verified before your machine ever leaves the building. You're welcome to visit our facility in Toronto, Ontario in person, or if you'd rather not travel, we can arrange a live Zoom walkthrough showing the equipment running.
Do you have references or existing customers I can talk to before buying?
Yes. Because many of our U.S. customers are in the sign business themselves, some may prefer not to host a competitor's visit — so for reference calls, we typically connect prospective buyers with a customer in Toronto, Canada who runs the full Ascent equipment lineup and is comfortable showing it to other shops.
