Ascent Equipment has been building CNC bending machines, laser cutters, laser welders, CNC routers, and industrial 3D printers for the sign-making industry since **2013**. Our equipment is in production at sign shops across the United States and Canada — channel letter manufacturers, metal fabricators, and architectural signage producers who need reliable, daily-use machines without the proprietary lock-in of competing systems.
We sell direct, install on-site, train your team, and support the equipment for its full lifespan.

## What sets Ascent apart
- **No proprietary materials.** Our extrusion, clips, and pins are non-proprietary — buy from us at competitive prices or from the manufacturer directly. We don't believe in locking customers into a closed supply chain.
- **Transparent pricing — everything included.** Installation, on-site training, a two-year parts-and-labor warranty, software updates, and lifetime remote support are all included in the machine price. The only additional cost is freight.
- **UL-certified for North American use.** Our extrusion system and clips are UL-certified for indoor and outdoor channel letters up to 66" — the competition only certifies up to 48".
- **Rapid-response support.** AnyDesk Remote Desktop is pre-installed on every machine. When you call our service line, our technicians can be inside the controller within minutes.
- **Technicians where you are.** We service the United States and Canada from technicians strategically located in Buffalo, New York; Toronto, Ontario; and Mount Sterling, Kentucky.

## What we build
We design and manufacture six categories of equipment for the sign and metal-fabrication industries:
- **CNC channel letter bending machines** — 4AS, 5AS, EDGE-3, EDGE-4, MAX, and TMB-3 platforms
- **Laser welders** — refrigeration-cooled handheld fiber laser welders (1500W, 2000W, 3000W) and tabletop QCW welders
- **Laser cutters** — CO₂, fiber, dual-gantry CO₂+fiber, and metal-cutting fiber lasers
- **CNC routers** — for sign-making, signage panels, and material cutting
- **Industrial 3D printers** — high-throughput printers specifically engineered for sign-making applications
- **Pneumatic staplers, trim machines, and accessories** — the support equipment a working sign shop needs

Dov "Dave" Rom — President & Chief Engineer
Dov Rom (also known as Dave) leads Ascent Equipment's engineering and customer relationships. More than a decade designing CNC and laser equipment for sign making, Dov has personally walked through the production lines of customers from Buffalo to Toronto to Kentucky — adjusting equipment configurations, training operators, and refining machine designs based on what sign shops actually need on the floor.
